Hi! Nice to meet you. My name is Rebecca and I grew up nonverbal. After trying multiple different sports my parents realized that a team sport was not for me. My mom found a coupon for tennis and the rest is history! I credit tennis to finding my voice and want to give back to the sport that has given me everything - literally everything.
I played collegiate tennis and earned numerous degrees while doing it! I also graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law (ASU) with a degree in Sports Law and Business. My ultimate goal is to make tennis accessible for all.
At RFA Tennis, we open the court to everyone. Whether you are looking to build inclusive adapted tennis programs, optimize your club’s business model, or elevate your on-court lessons, I provide the expertise to make tennis accessible, engaging, and successful for all.

Tennis Lessons
Rebecca offers tennis lessons to any level and age regardless of ability. She is a certified tennis instructor through USTA Coaching and PTR.
Rebecca is a USTA Coaching Professional and completed the USTA Tennis Coaching and Leadership Fellowship in 2022 at the USTA National Campus. She was 1 of 10 selected for this program.

Rebecca Axelrod has, for several years, been a guest speaker for undergraduate students attending the “Introduction to Business Law” classes at a local University. Part of the curriculum for the students is how to comply with federal and state anti-discrimination employment laws. These laws include preventing and responding to disability discrimination and gender discrimination. Because of Rebecca’s success in the business world of sports, often dominated by male leadership, and her ability to overcome her own challenges as a child her presentations helped students to understand the importance of preventing and responding to workplace discrimination against those who are disabled or based upon gender.
